PHASE 1 - 3D

In a first phase I worked on materials and textures in 3D environments. I used materials and textures that have a reference to the natural, non-digital world and represent a simulation as well as materialities that were created virtually and represent an abstraction. It is not only interesting to see how physical materiality is transferred into the digital, but completely new situations arise when materiality is decoupled from its original physicality and its behavior changes completely. Also, by merging simulated and abstracted materialities, a completely new visual world is created, which brings together reality, simulation and virtuality.
